Are We the Answer to Our Prayers?

Another night of Kundalini energy.

  Woke me in the dark of the night 

  when it exploded out of my head.

It carried a dream and a message.

  'Create an intentional community of love.'

  Over and again, I heard this message.  

I immediately started analyzing it, 

  surveying the many ways we have 

  created community, and the countless

  times we took it apart when we found it.  

Despite our highest intentions, 

  we can’t escape our humanness, 

  the fears that capture us and the

  illusions we label rational thought.

But perhaps despite, or even

  because of, our fallibilities

  we can create community.

This community is not bound

  by geography, culture or religion.

It is bound by a singular commitment

  to shine the light of love on darkness. 

It is worldwide. 

Imagine the light emanating

  from millions of people, shining

  on the darkness we have created.

We illuminate our own darkness.

We ARE the answer.
