The last couple weeks, the rancid rain from numerous devious, cruel acts
from this regime have showered down upon all aspects of our society.
It has been hard not to get swept away by the remorse, shock and dismay.
But make no mistake, the coup and how it is being enacted,
are INTENTIONAL, as is the pain inflicted on us.
Their purpose is to confuse and disempower us, leaving us
sitting in this pile of shit without hope or the ability to stand.
That is the purpose, my friends,
for tyranny cannot exist unless people submit to it.
So, hard as it is to stand, we must gather our courage
and stand up together in solidarity to this tyrant and his minions.
We have agency and power when we stand together.
And standing together gives us all courage and hope.
This weekend is an inflection point for our country.
Today, we celebrate the 250 year anniversary of the Old North Church bells
that sent Paul Revere and William Dawes on a ride through the countryside.
We celebrate the courage of the men that night 250 years ago,
and we sound the bells for our own country people about the coup.
Tomorrow, we celebrate the 250 anniversary of the 1st American Revolution
and we sound our voices to our own country people about the potentiality of the 2nd American Revolution.
