It started with a bronze replica of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s desk on the National Mall in Washington, DC – topped with a basketball-sized poop. Now, anti-Trump statues are popping up in more US cities.
A plaque placed on the artwork read: "This memorial honors the brave men and women who broke into the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021 to loot, urinate and defecate throughout those hallowed halls in order to overturn an election."
A plaque below – titled “In honor of a lifetime of sexual assault” – quotes the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape leaked in 2016, when Trump could be heard discussing sexually assaulting women.
“I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait,” the plaque reads. “And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”
The new piece of protest art on The Mall is an 8-foot-tall sculpture featuring a reconstruction of the Statue of Liberty's head being crushed by a large gold-colored thumbs-up, along with the wording "DICTATOR APPROVED" and a series of quotes from leaders with various levels of authoritarian, if not autocratic, tendencies praising Trump.

These statues are impressive. For all his craving of attention, Trump seems unable to comprehend or care just how many Americans find him destructive and ugly as president. Ugh!
